Louisville, KY – August 15, 2024 – Today, Old Forester, the First Bottled Bourbon, announced the highly anticipated 24th release of its Birthday Bourbon.

This special edition bourbon celebrates the birthday of Old Forester's founder, George Garvin Brown, and is released annually on September 2.

The 2024 release is a 100-proof bourbon aged for an undisclosed amount of time in charred oak barrels.

Tasting notes from Master Taster Jackie Zykan reveal a rich amber color, with aromas of brown sugar, orange peel, and cinnamon.

On the palate, expect flavors of dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and dried fruit, with a long, warm finish.
